Starfield Suwon is a large-scale shopping mall that opened in January 2024 and has become a prominent landmark in the southern Gyeonggi region.

It boasts a total area of 100,000 square meters, the size of 46 soccer fields, and offers a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options from the basement to the 8th floor.

It is home to many trendy stores aimed at the MZ generation and is referred to as the second generation Starfield, differentiating it from the original Starfield.

Starfield Suwon is easily accessible, located a 5-minute walk from Hwaseo Station on Subway Line 1. It’s easy to get there by taking Exit 2 of Hwaseo Station and following the signposts that guide you to Starfield.

The interior is spacious and complicated, so it’s important to get around efficiently. The most recommended route is to take the elevator or escalator up to the 7th floor, start at the Starfield Library, and work your way down one floor at a time to explore the stores.

Bites Place, located on the first floor, is a collection of pop-up shops centered around desserts and bakeries.

Here you can try the chive salt bread from Gangnam’s famous “Nuage Bakery” and the apple pie from “Sagwa-dang”, which you can find in line at the budget market.

The Chive Salt Bread from Nuage Bakery was priced at 4,200 won, and many people said it was delicious with a salty flavor and cream cheese.

The apple pie at “Sagwa-dang“‘ is a sweet flavor filled with apple jam, which is sure to be popular among young MZs.
