Go to Book a Room at Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul combines modern luxury with traditional beauty, boasting a wide range of amenities and fine dining options.

The hotel’s central location in the heart of Seoul makes it easy to get to and offers guests an extra special experience.

In this review, we’ll take a closer look at the Grand Hyatt Seoul’s main facilities to see why it’s one of the most popular hotels in Seoul.

The indoor pool at Grand Hyatt Seoul isn’t large, but it’s long and deep enough for a good swim, and there’s a kickboard for beginners so everyone can enjoy the water safely.

The jacuzzi is reminiscent of a Southeast Asian setting, and the warm water and pretty interior make for a relaxing experience.

From May 24, the outdoor pool will also be open, allowing guests to swim under the clear skies of Seoul, and the pool hours are generous, from 7am to 6pm.

The pool depth is 1.2 to 1.8 meters, getting deeper as you go to the right.
There’s also a small outdoor jacuzzi and a kiddie pool, which you can enjoy with the kids.

The outdoor pool has plenty of “sunbeds” to work on your tan, and the stunning views of Seoul city from behind the sunbeds will add to the quality of your vacation.

“The gym at Grand Hyatt Seoul is open 24 hours a day and is conveniently located across the street from the indoor pool.

Workout clothes are provided free of charge and you just need to bring your room key to visit. Next to the gym is a sauna, which costs KRW 63,000 per person, while Club Room guests can enter for KRW 31,500.

Sauna access is free for spa guests. The sauna is open daily from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm for a relaxing experience.

Located within the hotel is the Gallery, a lounge café with views of Seoul’s city center through floor-to-ceiling windows, featuring works by famous artists, where you can enjoy a cup of tea while admiring the artwork.

The gallery offers a variety of dining options, from lunch to dinner to afternoon tea, and serves coffee as well as alcoholic beverages such as wine and beer.

There are daily live performances of classical music during the day and jazz at night, with daytime performances from 1:30 to 4:15 pm and evening performances from 7 to 10:45 pm.

Please note that there are no performances on Mondays.
The live performances add to the elegant atmosphere of the gallery.

Inside the lounge on the first floor is a bakery and wine shop, where you can purchase everything from simple snacks to fine wines.

The bakery offers takeout reservations via Naver and a 10% discount for online orders.

The cakes offered by the hotel are around 60,000 won, which is relatively reasonable for a cake at a luxury hotel. Hotel guests receive a discount on wine purchases, making it even more attractive.

If you go down to the LL level (B1), you will find “322 Sowol-ro”, which is the gourmet space of Grand Hyatt Hotel Seoul. There are a variety of fine dining options, including a “steakhouse“, sushi bar restaurant “Kauri“, teppanyaki restaurant “Teppan“, and Japanese-style pub “Tenkai”, providing the ultimate experience for foodies.

Teppan, in particular, is a popular restaurant that is difficult to get a reservation for, making it perfect for special occasions.

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s “J.J. MAHONEY’S” is one of the oldest clubs in Korea, having opened in 1988 and is the only remaining club in a five-star hotel.

It has been a favorite since 1988 and costs 20,000 won per person to enter.
A welcome drink is served and the doors open at 7pm.

After 9pm, there are live bands and DJs to keep things lively. There are also many foreign tourists, giving it a cosmopolitan atmosphere and making it one of the most colorful places to enjoy a night out in Seoul.

“Paris Bar” offers a classic and sophisticated atmosphere that is different from “J.J. MAHONEY’S”. The interior recreates the elegance of Paris, making you feel like you’re in a quaint bar in Paris, and is perfect for enjoying fine whiskey and wine.

The terrace offers sweeping views of Seoul’s nightlife, and live jazz performances in the evenings make the experience even more special. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a night out in Seoul while listening to sweet jazz with a cocktail.

Grand Hyatt Seoul also has plenty of facilities for families. The Kids Lounge is only open on weekends and holidays and is available from 8:30am to 18:00pm.

However, it is not staffed, so children must be accompanied by an adult and must follow the rules for safety.
The hotel also has a small flower shop, providing a place to feel happy through flowers.

“The Trinity” gallery, featuring works by contemporary artists, is also not to be missed.
Admission is free and the exhibitions vary depending on the time of year, so you can see new works no matter when you visit.

The Grand Hyatt Seoul is a fascinating property in its own right, but the hotel’s extensive amenities, fine dining options, and artistic spaces make it a unique experience.

The hotel is so rich in content that it’s hard to experience it all in a one- or two-night visit, but it’s enough to make for the perfect luxury getaway in Seoul.

Spending time here will be a memory in itself, and the next time you plan to visit Seoul, don’t miss out on the unique experience at Grand Hyatt Seoul.
